Lee considers himself as a 'maker' and not an artist. He enjoys working in a variety of materials from wood to paint to Adobe Photoshop. Through his post-graduate studies he felt that it was an issue that he had no obvious style; he was concerned he had no real creative identity. However, since graduating he has realised that this is a very positive attribute.

"I love making - simple. Whatever material and whatever approach. I love the feeling of ending a day knowing I have 'created' something, anything."
